"Nathan's reputation as a director who took his team and riders to the next level preceded him when we were introduced after my first season of competitive cycling.  He had the talent and resources to recognize the underused talent of a lanky Cat. 4 rider and guide me to the highest levels of the sport, as a current member of the Bahati Foundation Pro Cycling Team.

His vast experience has allowed Nathan to influence me in every aspect of the sport.  His roles extended beyond that of simply a coach or director.  My success was the culmination of Nathan's guidance and expertise.  He provided training guidance throughout the year, was a successful manager and director, organizing everything from sponsorships to travel, and always made sure my bike was in working order when my hopeless mechanic skills failed me.

Most importantly, he always had the big picture in mind.  His attention to detail assured progress toward incremental goals, as I progressed through the categories and experienced both national and international racing.  All of these smaller objectives have led to the professional ranks today.

I would not be anywhere close to the level I am today if it were not for Nathan's guidance and support.  He has the ability to take all aspects of someone's cycling lifestyle to any level he or she desires.  No matter what your goals are in cycling, Nathan can help you reach them."

"I met Nathan in late 2008 through my boyfriend who had raced with him. I had heard he was tough but that he could take you to the next level of racing and that is what I wanted.

I fell into racing two years before casually immediately after getting a bike.  I didn't know what I was doing and just rode what I felt like riding and took advice from my peers in the collegiate scene.   I had found success at the local level but wanted more.  It was a little intimidating for me to approach Nathan about helping me take racing to the next level but I am so glad I took that leap.

With Nathan's wealth of experience from racing at a world-class level on the track as well as a professional-level on the road, he has good tactical and training knowledge.  I put my trust fully in his training plan and completed it 100%.  It definitely pushed me beyond limits I knew, but come racing time, I was able to compete at the National-level, something I would have failed at the year before.

Nathan can provide more than just a training plan, but he is also able to help you build your mental toughness.  Cycling is well over 50% a mental sport.  He always told me I could be in the front group at this or that NRC race, that I could win this local race, and I could race in Europe and do well.  The way that he told me was very direct and to-the-point- it was a fact, reality, and you could not doubt it.  It made me gain confidence in my ability which in turn made me more assertive in races and resulted in better race finishes.

Without Nathan, I wouldn't have had the opportunities that were opened up to me this past year- competing at that national level and then having the opportunity to guest-ride for the summer abroad with Team Bike-Import.ch in Switzerland.   But just as importantly, I am now also a confident racer, I am mentally tough, and I understand racing tactics.  For all of that, I am grateful."

"I first met Nathan when I started riding the velodrome as a junior cyclist. At the time I lived in north Texas, which was lucky enough to have a world class velodrome nearby. The "Superdrome" attracted top cyclists from around the country and Nathan was no exception. These were the days before Lance made cycling in America a well known sport. When I joined the junior team at the Superdrome it was only a handful of young riders being led by Nathan.

At first, Nathan was a coach I respected because he was faster than I was, but as the years went by I learned to respect him even more for his coaching ability. Nathan had an unusual training strategy that demanded patience and discipline to achieve long-term success. He gave our group of junior racers a strategy to follow and an environment in which to excel.

Soon Nathan's coaching began to pay off and our group from the Superdrome began winning races as a team. I still remember attending races almost every weekend during the season. Under Nathan's coaching I raced in several national championships, and had a few top 10 finishes. I even had the opportunity to race in Le Tour de l'Abitibi, a world class junior stage race in Canada, two years in a row. Many cyclists on our junior team were also successful in their cycling career.

What I learned as a junior cyclist continued to be a part of my life long after I finished junior racing. The strengths that Nathan teaches in his coaching, such as patience and discipline, are critical to long-term success in every facet of life. I still keep in touch with some of the other juniors that were on the team, and one thing is for certain: we all still remember our days as juniors riding on the velodrome."

"I went into this wanting to become a better cyclist, to be safer and more confident, I never thought about racing,  I just wanted to be control of my bike and it not be in control of me, I like to go fast and wanted to do it safely. The Clinics have really helped me do this and the training classes along aside the training schedule have given me a direction and purpose. I can see a huge difference in fitness level and please excuse the pun but I don’t feel I am spinning my wheels anymore. I am enjoying every moment of it and I can see a huge difference and the racing part is just a bonus."

"I think the staff is good and I really believe Nathan knows how to train an athlete to compete at whatever level they are currently on.  I know when I have a question he takes time to answer the question, and help me resolve the problem. I believe by the end of the cycling season I will be a force to recon with at all the cycling events."
